FlexConnect Data Fees Calculator

Use this tool to estimate your fleet data monitoring charges, based on your chosen data logging configuration.

  • Number of Signals – The number unique signals recorded. For example: fuel level, engine hours, and odometer each count as one signal.

  • Monthly Service Hours – The total number of hours one vehicle is in operation per month.

  • Sample Rate – The time between signal measurements. Can use a single value for all signals or use individual rates and take the average.

  • Upload Delay – How “live” the data needs to be. Longer delays result in more efficient uploads and reduced cost.

  • Monthly Base Fees – The estimated monthly cost per vehicle based on the above factors, not including additional fees for LTE use.

  • Optional LTE Fees – The estimated monthly cost added to the base fee per vehicle, assuming all data is transferred via LTE. Data can be uploaded via Wi-Fi without additional fees.

  • Fleet Size – The number of vehicles in your fleet. Total fees are calculated by multiplying the vehicle fees by fleet size.
