Audesse Launches Next Phase of EV Control Platform with Support from the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network

Audesse is moving its FlexCase platform closer to market, enhancing scalability, security, and integration for connected and electric vehicles, with support from the Ontario Government through the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN)

Kitchener, Ontario – 2026-01-29 – Audesse, a Kitchener-based developer of connected vehicle control systems, is advancing control technologies for electrified and connected vehicles, in collaboration with a major North American axle manufacturer.

Fueled by a $1.9 million investment that includes $640,000 from the Government of Ontario through the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), and $1.26 million in industry contributions, Audesse is preparing its FlexCase platform for broader market deployment by finalizing a production-grade controller that will enhance platform scalability, security, and OEM integration readiness.

This project builds on Audesse’s earlier success with its FlexCase platform. Previously, the company secured an initial $300,000 investment, including $100,000 from the Ontario government through OVIN and $200,000 in industry contribution, to lay the foundation for a more scalable and production-ready control solution. By validating the FlexCase platform, Audesse’s modular vehicle control unit, the company was able to optimize hardware costs, develop firmware with diagnostic and over-the-air support, and conduct integration testing in real-world environments.

Through this new investment, the FlexCase platform is being positioned for use in a variety of low- to mid-volume applications where connected, safety-critical control is required. With support for common vehicle communication protocols and remote update capabilities, it offers OEMs a flexible foundation to accelerate product development and meet emerging system requirements.
