AWS S3 Access

Reading your S3 log files

Introduction

If you have ordered your FlexCase preconfigured to upload log files you can use this guide to access them. If you are interested in adding this functionality to your existing FlexCase please reach out to us for an over the air update.

Adding Your S3 Bucket

By default, you will have read access to log files that are automatically uploaded anytime the FlexCase is powered on. Our recommended approach for viewing these files is as follows:

  1. Download and install the free version of Cloudberry.
  2. Open the program and enter a new Amazon S3 account (File > New Amazon S3 Account)
    1. Set the S3 display name to your preferred nickname
    2. Use the provided access and secret keys to authenticate your account. These credentials are provided to you with your Getting Started postcard
    3. Press Test Connection. It should be successful.
    4. Press OK
  3. In the main window, set the source to the S3 account you just defined
  4. Click External Bucket (the green cube) and enter your bucket name. This bucket name is provided to you with your Getting Started postcard.

You should have access to download any file from your dedicated storage server!
